Prediction Panes
When the Prediction module is in use, the System Tree Items table and Parts Tables are shown in the System file. As described in System Definition, the System Tree Items table defines the hierarchical structure of the system. If multiple system tree configurations exist, the Configurations table is also shown so that you can select the appropriate configuration. For more information, see Configurations Table. The Parts Table displays the parts inserted for the active assembly in the system tree. For more information, see Parts Table.
In addition to displaying these panes, the Prediction module displays many otherpanes with forms for specifying assembly and part data.
A Prediction Assemblies form specifies information about the active assembly in the System Tree Items table. For more information, see Assembly Forms.
A Prediction Parts form specifies information about the active part in the System Tree Items table or Parts Table. For more information, see Part Forms.

Under Prediction in the Options window, Prediction tabs follow System Tree selection controls whether the assembly or part selected in the System Tree Items table determines the Prediction forms that are shown. When this checkbox is selected (default), only assembly-related panes are shown when an assembly is active and only part-related panes are shown when a part is active. For more information, see User Options.
Prediction Assemblies and Prediction Parts forms are copied into a Project as described below. Many support files for the Prediction module use these same forms for collecting data.
When you create a Project, the default Prediction Assemblies and Parts forms for all licensed models are copied into the new Project. For more information, see Creating a Project Using a New Command.
When you use the New Project Wizard to create a Project from an existing Project or a template, the Prediction Assemblies and Parts forms in that Project or template are copied into the new Project. For more information, see Creating a Project Using the New Project Wizard.
When you license a model after a Project has been created, any default Prediction Assemblies and Parts forms for this model are copied into the Project.
To collect additional assembly and part data, you can create custom Prediction Assemblies and Prediction Parts forms and then enable these Form Design files in your Project. You can also copy custom Form Design files from another Project into the current Project and then enable them for use. For more information, see Form Design Files.
