No Part Number Searches
You turn off part number searching by selecting
Disable All Library Searching for
Search method under
Parts Library Search in the
Options window. For more information, see
Turning Off and On Part Number Searching.
When part number searching is turned off, the following behavior results:
• No automatic searching for part number occurs when you manually enter a part number in a System file or Prediction Parts Library file.
• No automatic searching for part numbers occur during a part import.
• No parts can be added to Prediction Correlation files. This is because Prediction Parts Library files must be searched to find corresponding part numbers.
As long as
Disable All Library Searching is the search method, all other options under
Parts Library Search are ignored. For more information, see
