Turning Off and On Part Number Searching
Under
Parts Library Search in the
Options window,
Search method controls whether part number searching is turned on or off. For more information, see
Part Number Searches.
1. Select > . The Options window opens.
2. Under Parts Library Search, locate the Search method option and do one of the following.
◦ To turn part number searching off, select Disable All Library Searching.
◦ To turn part number searching on, select Encoded Part Number Search (default) or Exact Part Number Search to indicate the type of search to perform.
3. When finished, close the Options window by clicking the X in the upper right corner.
