Inserting FIDES Application Phases
In the Application Phases pane, you can insert phases from all those that are inserted in the Project’s Prediction FIDES Mission Profile file.Only one application phase record can exist for each phase in the Prediction FIDES Mission Profile. For more information, see Prediction FIDES Mission Profile Files.
1. If the Prediction FIDES Application Factor file is not already created or opened, then create or open it in the same way as another file.
2. In the last table row in the Application Phases pane, click < Click here to insert a new record >. The Add Application Phase window opens.
3. For Phase, select the phase for which to insert a question set. All phases defined in the Prediction FIDES Mission Profile file are available for selection.
While you can type the name of a new phase to insert a question set for it in the FIDES Application Factor file, inserting a phase here does not insert this phase in the FIDES Mission Profile file.
Because these two files are not linked, inserting a phase in the FIDES Mission Profile file does not insert this phase and a new question set for it in the FIDES Application Factor file. It is only during prediction calculations that appropriate matches must be found between these two FIDES support files.
4. Once you select or enter the phase, click OK to insert it in the Application Phases pane. A new question set is also inserted for this phase in the Application Questions pane.
5. For the newly inserted phase, complete this question set.
You cannot modify the question set in any way. You can only specify compliance levels in the Answer column. For more information, see Completing Question Sets for the FIDES Application Factor.
6. For each phase to insert, repeat steps 2 through 5.
7. When finished, close the FIDES Application Factor file.
