Infant Mortality Process Grade
The Infant Mortality process grade factor (Pi IM) is calculated based on parameters that you enter in the Infant Mortality - Temperature and Infant Mortality - Vibration panes in the Prediction Process Grade file. These two panes allow you to indicate:
The type of temperature and vibration screening tests performed.
The specific conditions (stresses) of these tests.
The detection efficiency associated with these tests.
The estimated percent of potential infant mortality failures resulting from temperature cycling and vibration for each screening test type option.
The instantaneous failure time baseline (in months).
The following topics provide additional information about these panes and how to use them to calculate a score for the Infant Mortality process grade factor.
