In the Hybrid pane, you supply parameters required for performing an additional hybrid failure rate calculation for the assembly. A hybrid is a component in a relatively large package that contains other parts mounted on a substrate. All but the 217Plus, PRISM, and FIDES 2004 models support hybrid calculations.

When the selected model supports a hybrid calculation, Hybrid becomes available in the General Data pane available. When this checkbox is cleared (default), the Hybrid pane is hidden. When it is selected, the Hybrid pane is shown. For more information, see Indicating an Assembly is a Hybrid.
