Hybrid Data for MIL-HDBK-217 Models
When Hybrid is selected in the General Data pane for an assembly, the following form is shown in the Hybrid pane if a MIL-HDBK-217 model is selected.
The following table describes the data fields that appear in the Hybrid pane for a MIL-HDBK-217 model.
Field | Description |

Hybrid circuit type | The type of circuit for the hybrid. Choices are: • Digital • Linear • Microwave • Power • Video |
Hybrid quality | The quality screening level used in the manufacturing of the hybrid. Choices are B, B-1, Commercial and S. If the hybrid is screened to a custom or intermediate program, you can enter a Pi Q value for Hybrid Pi Q. For more information, see MIL-HBDK-217 Quality Levels. |
Hybrid years in production | The number of years the hybrid has been in production. Choices are: • <=0.1 • =2.0. • 0.5 • 1.0 • 1.5 |
Hybrid max temperature | The maximum case temperature of the hybrid in degrees C. The default is 150.00. |
Hybrid Pi Q | The Pi factor value to use in the model’s failure rate calculation for the hybrid if it is screened to a custom or intermediate program. |
