The following table describes the part parameters required for the Diode subcategory when 299C is the selected calculation model.

Indicates whether the device is made in China. If this checkbox is selected, the failure rate of the part is calculated based on Appendix A for the 299C Parts Count or Parts Stress model chosen.
Quality Level

The appropriate quality screening level of the device. Accepted quality levels and values for general diodes follow. For the quality value assigned to a specific diode, see Chinese Standard GJB/z 299C.

A3 = 0.05
A4 = 0.10
A5 = 0.20
B1 = 0.40 or 5.0
B2 = 1.00
C = 5.00
Application

The application of the device. Many different choices are available, including General Purpose, Switching, and more.
Regulator
Checkbox
Required only when the application is Voltage Regulator, Ref, Zener. Not required when Foreign is selected.
When selected, the device is used as a voltage regulator.
Silicon
Checkbox (Parts Count also)
Not required when the application is Current Regulator or Voltage Regulator, Ref, Zener.
When selected, the device is made of silicon.
# of Stacks

Required only when the application is Rectifier, High Volt. Stacks. Not required when Foreign is selected.
The number of diodes stacked upon each other.
