Tasks Pane for a Task Group
When a task group is selected in the navigation pane, the Tasks pane displays information about the tasks inserted in this group. The number of tasks inserted and calculated repair time and manminutes (or manhours) are shown in display-only fields above the table. The table lists all tasks inserted in this group. Descriptions follow of the options in the Tasks pane for a group.
Option
Description
Totals
The values in the display-only fields under this heading are based on the tasks inserted in the Tasks table beneath these fields.
Number of tasks
The total number of tasks in the task group.
Total time (Mct)
The sum of all repair times for the tasks in the task group.
Manminutes
OR
Manhours (MMH)
The sum of all the repair times multiplied by the number of technicians needed to perform the repair. The repair time unit (and hence the label) is based on the units selected for Repair Time units under General in the Project properties. For more information, see General Project Properties.
Tasks
This table lists the tasks in the task group as well as the number of times these tasks are performed as part of this task group. The last three columns in this table, MTTR Element, Persons, and Minutes, are display-only. This data is based on the data entered in the Task Data pane for the selected task. Clicking < Click here to insert a new record > in the last table row inserts a task in the task group. All tasks that are inserted on the Tasks tab are available for selection. Task
The task to perform as part of the task group.
Task Quantity
The number of times the task is performed as part of the task group.
