Inserting an LCC Variable in the Variables Pane

You can insert an LCC variable in the Project’s LCC Variables file.

1. If the LCC Variables file is not already open, then open it. You open this file in the same way as any other file.

2. In the last table row in the Variables pane, click Click here to insert a new record.

The Add Variable window opens. For more information, see Add Variable Window.

3. Complete this window and then click OK to insert the variable.

4. In the Variables pane, complete the Variable Data area for this variable. For more information, see:

◦ Specifying Values for a Variable that Varies Over Alternatives

◦ Specifying Values for a Variable that Varies Over Alternatives and Time Intervals

◦ Specify the Values for a Variable that Varies Over Time Intervals

You can directly modify the parameters for the selected variable in the lower area of the Variables pane. You can also copy, cut, paste, and delete the records in the Variables table in the same manner as table records in the System file.
