The FMEA Worksheet table does not support row selection in the same way as other tables because one row does not correspond to one record. As a result, Cut, Copy, and Delete commands always operate on the text in the current cell.

Special submenu commands exist for performing these operations on FMEA Worksheet records (items, modes, causes, and effects). The commands available on these submenus depend on the data level of the currently selected cell. The commands for the level of this cell and all parent levels are available.

For example, if the cell is at the cause level, commands are available for cutting, copying, and deleting the cause, mode, and item when effects are the children or siblings of causes. When effects are parents of causes, then these commands are also available for the effect.
