Cutting or Copying a FMEA Data Level for Pasting Elsewhere
You can cut or copy a data level in the FMEA Worksheet table and paste it in either the same FMEA or another FMEA. Existing child data levels are copied and pasted along with the level. However, no automatic insertions of any missing data levels occur.

Copy and Paste
1. Select a cell in the row containing the data level to copy and select Copy Record and the Copy command for that data level.
2. Right-click a cell in the row under which to paste the data level and its children and select the Paste command that now appears for this data level.
The pasted data level is always placed immediately below the cell on which you right-clicked.
The Edit menu also provides commands for cutting, copying, and pasting data levels. When records are copied, they are placed in the Windows Clipboard. You can paste copied records from the Clipboard into a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel.
