Wildcard Characters for Library Browse Searches
In the Search pane in the Library Browse window, and also in various Search windows, browse buttons appear for search criteria fields. Clicking one of these browse buttons provides for inserting a wildcard character in the search string. You can type a supported wildcard character directly in the search string.
The following table describes the wildcard characters that you can insert or type in search criteria fields. It also provides examples of how you might use wildcard characters for Part Number when searching for Prediction parts. You can use wildcard characters in the same manner for Library Identifier or any other text field that does not have a list assigned.
