Prediction Parts Search Criteria
In the Library Browse window, when Prediction Parts is selected for Search for in the Search pane, the search criteria fields for Prediction Parts Library files are those described in the table below. Comprehensive information about these files appears in Prediction Parts Library Files.

The browse buttons for Part Number, Description, and Alternate Part Number provide for inserting wildcard characters in search strings as described in Wildcard Characters for Library Browse Searches. All other fields are associated with lists.

The Prediction Parts Library files to search. Choices are:
• All Available Libraries. When selected (default), all libraries are searched.
• Windchill Risk and Reliability Libraries. When selected, Windchill Risk and Reliability libraries are searched.
• Current Project Libraries. When selected, Prediction Parts Library files in the Project are searched.

Part Number
|
The full or partial part number for which to search.

Description
|
The full or partial part description for which to search.
|

Alternate Part Number
|
The full or partial alternate part number for which to search. This field appears only when Prediction Parts Library files are being searched.

Part Classification
|
The class of the part for which to search. The classification selection affects the choices available for Category and Subcategory. For more information, see Part Classifications.

Category
|
The part type for which to search. This field and the next are used to reduce the number of parts found.
|
|
Subcategory
|
The part subtype for which to search. A selection must be made for Category for choices to appear for this field.
