Specifying Default Object Styles
The default styles for Markov diagram and RBD objects are specified under Markov and RBD in the System file properties. For more information, see Markov System File Properties and RBD System File Properties.
1. From the System file, select View > File Properties. The File Properties window opens.
The default styles for Markov diagram objects are shown under Markov. The default styles for RBD objects are shown under RBD and then Default Styles.
2. Locate the properties for specifying the default diagram object styles.
The default styles for Markov diagram objects are the Label, State, and Transition styles in the read-only Markov Style Library file. For more information, see Markov Style Library Files.
The default styles for RBD objects are the Block, Connector, Junction, Label, and Phase Block styles in the read-only RBD Style Library file. For more information, see RBD Style Library Files. The Phase Block style is only applicable to phase diagrams, which are described in Phase Diagrams.
3. For each object style to change, click in the field and use the drop-down control that appears to select another style for that object from the enabled Style Library files for the module.
4. When finished, close the File Properties window or the Project Properties window.
The FTA module also has default styles. However, its styles are stored in the FTA Style file, which is a singular support file rather than a library file. This means that only one file of this type can exist in the Project. It is already populated with a fixed number of gate and event styles, one connector style, and one label style. While you can modify the visual properties of existing gate, event, or connector styles, you cannot insert new or delete existing ones. For label styles, you can modify existing styles, insert new styles, and delete existing styles. For more information, see FTA Style Files.
