RBD System File Properties
The following table describes the properties that appear under RBD in the System file properties. These properties affect Windchill RBD when this module is in use.

Description
Block Library update fields
Indicates the fields to update in the RBD Blocks table when a System file is updated with data in an RBD Block Diagram Library file.
When All Fields is shown (default), all fields are selected for updating.
When Custom Fields is shown, at least one field has been excluded from the update.
To specify the fields to update, you click in the Setting column for this property. A browse button becomes available. Clicking this button opens a window in which you indicate what block data in RBD Block Diagram Library files to copy into the System file when an update is performed. Default Styles
The properties under this subheading provide for selecting the default styles for objects inserted in block diagrams and phase diagrams. For more information, see RBD Style Library Files.
Default Block style
The default block style in block diagrams. The default is the Block style in the master RBD Style Library file.
Default Connector style
The default connector style in block diagrams. The default is the Connector style in the master RBD Style Library file.
Default Junction style
The default junction style in block diagrams. The default is the Junction style in the master RBD Style Library file.
Default Label style
The default label style in block diagrams. The default is the Label style in the master RBD Style Library file.
Default Phase Block style
The default phase style in phase diagrams. The default is the Phase Block style in the master RBD Style Library file.
Diagram Results
The properties under this subheading provide for specifying the format for RBD calculation results.
Scientific notation
Indicates when results are shown in scientific notation. When this checkbox is cleared (default), results are shown in scientific notation only when the number of values is greater than that entered for Significant digits. When this checkbox is selected, results are always shown in scientific notation, regardless of the number of values entered for Significant digits.
Significant digits
Indicates the number of significant digits to show for numeric values. The default is 6.
Suppress trailing zeros
Indicates whether to add zeros to meet the number of digits entered for Significant digits. When this checkbox is selected (default), zeros are not added.
