Opening a Project or File Using a List of Recent Files
A list of recent files provides for quickly opening any of the last several files that you have viewed or modified. Windchill Risk and Reliability provides two such lists. One is on the Start page, which is described in Start Page Window. The other is on the File menu. Thus, to quickly open a recent Project or file, do one of the following:
On the Start page, in the Recent Files list, click the Project or file.
Select File > Recent Files and then the Project or file.
When you select a Project, it opens in the Project Properties window, which is described in Project Properties Window. When you select a file, it opens in the appropriate window. If you try to open a file in one Project when another Project is open, a window opens, indicating that you cannot open this file until the files in the open Project are closed.
The Recent Files lists display as many as 10 files. To clear both of these lists, you do one of the following:
On the Start page, in the right corner of the section containing the Recent Files list, click Clear List.
Select File > Recent Files > Clear Recent Files List.
*
In the Options window, General > Save only System files in the recent files list controls whether files other than System files are shown in lists of recent files. When this checkbox is selected (default), only System files are shown. When it is cleared, files of all types are shown. For more information, see General User Options.
