Form Properties Window
The Form Properties window displays properties for the Form Design file. The following table describes the properties in this window. For more information, see Viewing and Modifying Form Design File Properties.

Caption
The name of the pane in which to display the form.
Table type
The table with which the form is associated. This field is display-only.
Prediction form type
Indicates when to shown the Form Design file in a tabbed pane in the System file. This field is available only for Prediction Assemblies and Prediction Parts forms.
Change font
Indicates whether to use a different font for the display text. When this checkbox is selected, the Font button is available.
When clicked, the font control appears so that you can set default attributes for the text on the form. For more information, see Using the Font Control. In the Form Properties window, the currently selected font name and size appear to the right of this button. The default is Tahoma, 8 pt.
Change background
Indicates whether to use a different background color for the form. When this checkbox is selected, Background color becomes available so that a color can be selected. For more information, see Using the Color Control.
Grid spacing
The properties under this heading provide for specifying grid spacing information. Grid spacing refers to the placement of the dotted grid lines that aid in the placement of controls on forms.
Use defaults
Indicates whether to use the grid spacing values specified for Form grid space height and Form grid space width under Report and Form Designers in the Options window. For more information, see Report and Form Designers User Options. When this checkbox is selected (default) the default for both of these options is 7 dialog units. When this checkbox is cleared, Width and Height become available so that you can change the grid spacing for this particular form.
Border settings
The display-only diagram to the right indicates the space between the blue rectangle that borders the form design and the edge of the form. The default is 7 dialog units.
