File Inputs (Project)
When the Project is selected in the Project Properties pane, the File Inputs pane displays the Table Format and Form Set files for System files only if General > Simplify file inputs is cleared in the Project properties.
*
The File Inputs pane is shown only in the desktop application.
At the Project level, you use the File Inputs pane to specify the Table Format files and Form Set file to use as the defaults for the System and Assembly Library files in the Project. Table Format files determine the appearance of tables in the file. The Form Set file specifies the Form Design files for the forms to show in the file. For more information, see:
While all System and Assembly Library files that you create in the Project use the files specified in this window by default, you can specify overrides for a particular System file or Assembly Library file in its File Inputs pane. For more information, see File Inputs (System File) and File Inputs (Assembly Library File Only).
In the Enterprise Edition, Assign input formats by group appears in the File Inputs pane because various user groups can be defined in the Administrator application. To use different Table Format files and Form Set files for different user groups, you select this checkbox and then override the default Table Format files and Form Set file with the ones you have created for each group. For more information, see Enabling Table Format and Form Set Files. If you remove the default file and do not enable a group-specific file, you are not able to see any data for the table type in the System file.
From the File Inputs pane, you can also add any number of additional form set views. When you insert Form Set, a special field, in FMEA and FRACAS tables or forms, you can use this field to switch from one form set view to another. For more information, see Creating and Enabling Additional Form Set Views.
