The process of creating cores and configuration required for basic authentication are not automated on Solaris platform. If you are installing index search server on Solaris, you are required to perform all the post configuration steps manually described in Configure the Index Search Server in Cloud Mode. Please note that support for Solaris will be discontinued in a future Windchill release. |
The cores of the Windchill Index Search, Windchill PartsLink, S1000D and Service Information Manager modules are automatically created, even if the modules are not installed. Therefore, if you later decide to install these modules, you are not required to create the respective cores. |
