Windchill Requirements Connector enables an effective and efficient method to exchange and synchronize requirements across department and enterprise boundaries. Deploying Windchill Requirements Connector across an organization ensures that requirements are communicated, processed and acted upon easily, and can contribute to the success of your projects.

This Quick Start Guide explains the Windchill Requirements Connector functionality starting from the first launch of the application and is to be used as context help within Requirements Connector while stepping through the Guided Actions in the Standard UI.

The context help can be accessed by clicking on the

button within the UI.

Switching between Standard and Advanced UI

Within the upper right corner of Requirements Connector you can change the appearance of the User Interface between standard and advanced.

When starting the Requirements Connector for the first time, the Standard UI is loaded. To add the Advanced UI to switch between both you have to click on

and chose the Advanced UI . This has only to be done once.

Toggle UI between standard and advanced

The Advanced UI will show you more options at once while the Standard UI displays a more simplified view on the configuration including Guided Actions.
