Deleting a Revisable UDI Super Set
You can delete the latest version of one or more revisable UDI super sets if you have the required permission. You cannot delete a version if the version is referenced as a subject or a driver on a regulatory submission.
You can select and delete a UDI super set from multiple locations:
• From Folders in your UDI library context. You can select multiple UDI super sets in the Folder Contents table on the Folders page. This will delete the latest revisions of the selected UDI super sets.
• From the information page of a UDI. This will delete the specific revision of the selected UDI super set.
• From the UDIs table on a part information page. This will delete the latest revision of the UDI super set.
To open the Delete window, click Delete from the Actions menu on the information pages or use the right-click actions menu on the Folder Contents table.
To delete a UDI from the Actions menu, complete the following steps:
1. Select a UDI and click > .
2. From the Delete window that opens, you can select one of the following options:
◦ Delete all iterations of each object included in the table — (Default). To remove all iterations of the selected revisable UDI Super Set.
◦ Delete all revisions of each object included in the table — To remove all revisions of the selected revisable UDI Super Set.
◦ Delete latest iterations of each object included in the table — To remove the latest iteration of the selected revisable UDI Super Set.
3. Click OK to apply the updates.
