Upgrading ThingWorx Apps
Upgrade to ThingWorx Apps 8.5.0 is supported from ThingWorx Apps 8.3.x and 8.4.x systems. Follow the upgrade steps appropriate for your source system:
• If you are upgrading from a ThingWorx Apps system earlier than release 8.3, you must first upgrade to ThingWorx Apps 8.3, before upgrading to ThingWorx Apps 8.5.0. For more information, see the ThingWorx Apps Setup and Configuration Guide for 8.3, available from Reference Documents. For Product, select ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps Family or ThingWorx Service Apps Family.
To upgrade from ThingWorx Apps 8.5.0 to a ThingWorx Apps service pack release (for example, 8.5.1 or 8.5.2), follow the instructions in Upgrading to an 8.5 Service Pack Release.

With release 8.5, Operator Advisor is imported as part of the ThingWorx Apps extension. For systems with both ThingWorx Apps and Operator Advisor installed, upgrade is supported from ThingWorx Apps 8.4.3 and Operator Advisor 8.4.1 or 8.4.3.
