An alarm is an event that is triggered when an equipment’s attribute reaches a certain condition. If AMU is deployed, the alarm is then displayed in the equipment card on the Asset Monitoring Dashboard as part of the count. The alarm is also shown in the Alarm Events Display and could result in one or more persons receiving a notification.

The main display for the alarm configuration lists all configured alarms in a grid. Specific alarm can be searched by entering the name or part of the name in the top search field. The advanced filter can also be used to find alarms based on assigned equipment, alarm severity, or both. At any time, a new alarm can be created.
