Delivery Target Status Messages during Deployment
If the deployment fails for a target asset, the Assets in Deployment table displays a generic status message. For information about agent-specific messages, refer to the ThingWorx Axeda Compatibility Package for Axeda eMessage Agents Help Center.
The following table provides information about the status message and the cause of the failure:

Causes
Delivery Target was manually aborted
Target was stuck in Sending Instructions state.
All available connectors for the target agent are shut down while the delivery target is in the Sending Instructions state.
The target thing is disabled while the delivery target is in the Sending Instructions state.
Target was stuck in Instructions Received state.
All available connectors for the target agent are shut down while the agent is waiting to install a package.
The installation date for a delivery target is set after the end of the configured Instructions Received timeout. This is a known issue.
A delivery target whose package has a Restart instruction is executed at the same time as the target that timed out. This occurs only if the platform and edge device are configured to allow two packages to be installed simultaneously.
Target was stuck in Installing state.
All available connectors for the target agent are shut down while the agent is installing the package.
