Cancel a Package Deployment
During a package deployment, you can cancel the deployments that are in Test or Published states. Click 
to cancel the selected deployments. When you click the Cancel button in the confirmation, you are prompted to click OK to cancel the selected deployments. Thingworx Software Content Management then immediately cancels all delivery targets that are in the following states:

• Pending
• Pending Retry
During the cancel operation,
• All delivery targets that are in active state are allowed to continue with the retry attempted set to a large negative value or are allowed to time out on their own.
• Targets not in the active state are canceled immediately, and the state is updated to CANCELED_BY_USER, and the retry attempted set to a large negative value count.
The following changes happen to the deployments:
• For the remaining active delivery targets, the retry attempted set to a large negative value and is allowed to either complete or time out on their own.
• If all delivery targets are completed as a result of the cancel, the deployment is updated to the Completed state.
• After the deployment is canceled, the status shows how many delivery targets are canceled and how many are in the active install state.
 | • When you select any deployment for cancelation, Auto Refresh is disabled. • When multiple deployments are selected, navigation to the View assets for deployment page and Edit option for the deployment is disabled. |
You can cancel deployments from these pages:
• Track Deployment By Package—From the left pane in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Track section, navigate to > .
• DEPLOYMENT STATUS:—From Dashboard in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, click on the Deployment status pie chart.
• Track Test Deployments- From the left pane in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Test section, navigate to > .
• Find One-Time Deployments—From the left pane in ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Deployments section, navigate to >
Cancel Individual Delivery Targets
From the View assets for deployment page for both test and published deployments, you can cancel individual delivery targets. The process, states, and results are similar to the cancel package deployment process.
You can cancel delivery targets from these pages:
• View Assets For Deployment— From the left pane in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Track section, navigate to > , select deployment and click the View Assets For Deployment button.
• Track Deployment By Asset—From the left pane in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Track section, navigate to > .
• View Assets For Test Deployment — From the left pane in the ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Test section, navigate to , select deployment, and click the View Assets For Deployment button.
