Configuring ThingWorx with Azure SQL (Ubuntu VM)

Skip this section and go to Configuring ThingWorx with Azure SQL (Windows VM) below if you are installing on Windows.

1. Provision a new virtual machine from Azure portal that runs Ubuntu 18. For System Requirements, refer to the ThingWorx System Requirements.
2. Install Java, Apache Tomcat, and ThingWorx by performing the steps in Install Java, Apache Tomcat, and ThingWorx.
Configuring ThingWorx with Azure SQL (Windows VM)
1. Provision a new virtual machine from Azure portal that runs Windows RHEL. For System Requirements, refer to the ThingWorx System Requirements.
2. Install Java and Apache Tomcat by performing the steps in Install Java, Apache Tomcat, and ThingWorx.
