Item
Description
New license groups
The following license groups have been introduced in this release of ThingWorx Navigate:
navigate_view_designated_computer_group
navigate_contribute_designated_computer_group
These license groups are intended for users who access ThingWorx Navigate from a shared terminal, workstation, kiosk, or device, due to the absence of a dedicated IT login. These groups are available in ThingWorx Navigate 9.3.4 and later versions.
Enhanced tasks
The following improvements have been made to ThingWorx Navigate tasks:
For the View and Measure in 3D and View Document tasks, the Swagger connector has been replaced with the OData connector.
Tasks in the PART TASKS COLLECTION and DOCUMENT TASKS COLLECTION have been updated to use the Item Identity component for displaying part or document identity information. The Item Identity panel also includes an action bar that enables users to perform actions, such as Report a Problem or View in Windchill, directly from this panel.
For the Parts List, Part Structure, and View Document Structure tasks, the selected part or document can now be viewed in a preview pane, which is displayed on the right-hand side of screen.
The Search page has been migrated to use the latest ThingWorx widgets.
Improved telemetry
In order to understand the preferences of our software users, PTC utilizes data monitoring technologies to obtain and transmit data on system use and performance and for gathering user data and use metrics of our software. Beginning ThingWorx Navigate 9.3.4, additional user data for the following is collected to improve telemetry:

Enhanced components
ThingWorx Navigate components have been improved for better usability. The list below highlights key enhancements:
The Item List component is migrated to use the latest ThingWorx Grid widget.
The Attributes component supports the ability to display a message when there are no attributes.
The Action Bar component supports additional configuration options, such as opening a URL.
Known Issues and Limitations
The following known issues and limitations are new for the current release of ThingWorx Navigate.

Support for multi-Windchill configuration
ThingWorx Navigate does not support the multi-Windchill configuration for out-of-the-box (OOTB) tasks. This configuration to connect with multiple Windchill instances is supported for any custom tasks that you may have created. For OOTB tasks, this configuration will be supported in a future release.
Some attributes not currently available from Windchill REST Services (WRS)
Since the following attributes are not currently available from WRS, these attributes are not available in the refactored View Document task:

Accessing the View Document and Report a Problem task for a PVZ document
You may face issues while accessing the View Document and Report a Problem task from within a task in the DOCUMENT TASKS COLLECTION for a PVZ document. This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future release.
Download All in Zip option unavailable for the Attachments component
The Download All in Zip option for secondary content on the refactored View Document task is unavailable in this release of ThingWorx Navigate. This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future release.
The known issues and limitations documented in the Version 9 Release Notes, Version 9.2 Release Notes, and Version 9.3.0 Release Notes are also applicable to ThingWorx Navigate 9.3.4, unless mentioned as fixed.
