Upgrading to Java 11 for 9.2
ThingWorx Analytics 9.2 requires the use of Java 11. The upgrade process has been simplified by the fact that ThingWorx Analytics 9.2 does not require the use of Java truststores. Instead, component-specific truststores are generated during installation and any necessary SSL certificates can be imported into them automatically.
If you are upgrading to ThingWorx Analytics 9.2 from an earlier version of the product, and you also need to upgrade from Java 8 to Java 11, complete the following steps in the order listed.
1. Shut down ThingWorx.
2. Install Java 11.
3. Update the
JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to Java 11. See the

4. Restart ThingWorx.
5. Run the
Analytics Server or
Platform Analytics installers to upgrade to release 9.2. See the
