Viewing and Sending Server Information
Included in the status is the number of current active users on your system, and the status details for the server process.
In addition to viewing server status from the Server Status page, you can choose to send system data to PTC Technical Support and associate it with an existing support call number.
Clicking the Contact Technical Support link initiates the process of sending server status information that is available from the Server Status page. You are then prompted to enter the number of an open technical support call under which the sent information is tracked. By default, the gathered information is then sent toPTC Technical Support.
PTC Technical Support identifies your company through your PTC Service Contract Number (SCN), commonly set during installation. If the SCN was not set during installation, you can change the number using the xconfmanager utility. For example, enter the following xconfmanager utility command from within a Windchill shell to set the SCN to 567890:
xconfmanager -s wt.support.scn=567890 -t wt.properties -p
