About Zinc Integration
For best results with your Zinc implementation, we recommend following the Max Approach, which has the following phases:
Plan: In this initial phase, you define implementation roles and responsibilities and define communication challenges and goals.
Build: After planning is completed, you review and implement Group, Broadcast, and Administrator options, configure connected Conversations using embedded Zinc, and set up Salesforce and ServiceMax integration support features such as SSO, automated provisioning, and User Profiles.
Rollout: In this phase, you create and execute communication and training delivery plans that include Administrator tools and access, best practices and rollout processes, and materials and resources to assist with the rollout.
Adopt: After rollout, the focus shifts to engagement and ROI as you analyze rich data to drive business decisions. By understanding how your teams are communicating and identifying specific patterns and trends that can affect operations, you can improve support response time and identify communication patterns to help boost engagement.
Following is a high-level overview of the Zinc implementation process based on the Max Approach, with typical timelines for the major activities and milestones that must be completed within each stage.
