Queue administration and management for Salesforce platform events and Service Board real-time sync includes a variety of tasks. Platform event subscriber configuration for Service Board is based on the EMP service, which receives platform events from Salesforce. To administer and manage platform event and real-time sync queues, you perform the following tasks:

• Monitoring platform events and current queue status

• Reinitializing the EMP service and resetting the last subscribed replayId value

• Clearing real-time sync queues and configuring the EMP platform event queue

For tenants deployed in cluster configurations, the EMP service runs on the job application in the cluster. To perform queue administration and management tasks programmatically, you must first access the job application.
