To enable Resource recommendation functionality, you must specify the skills and expertise required to complete individual Jobs at the record level. In Salesforce, the JSON code stored in the Skillset field in the Work Order object is populated by the skill-matching engine, and is mapped to the Max Job Requirement object. You can also use Max Designer, but two-way sync with Salesforce is not supported. Additionally, you can set Resource recommendation thresholds for all jobs.

ServiceMax recommends that you use the default Job requirement functionality in Service Board and perform configuration and maintenance tasks on the Salesforce platform. Be aware that two-way sync support for Job requirements created and maintained on the Max platform is not supported at this time.
