Marking Technician’s Day Off
The dispatcher marks the calendar of the technician for the day as unavailable by creating a non-work order event for the entire day if a technician calls in sick or takes a day off. The dispatcher can also create an all-day event for the technician to mark the day off.
In this scenario:
RTO reschedules the optimizable work orders that are outside the dispatch threshold time window.
Dispatcher must reschedule the work orders and non-work order events that they have manually scheduled for the technician.
