Manually Rescheduling Work Order
This section describes the scenarios when the dispatcher reschedules a work order that has either been scheduled by them manually or has been scheduled by RTO.
Dispatcher can manually reschedule work orders when:
• The work order is currently outside the dispatch threshold time window and the dispatcher wants to reschedule it to a timeslot which is outside the dispatch threshold time window.
• The work order is currently within the dispatch threshold time window and the dispatcher wants to reschedule it to a timeslot which is outside the dispatch threshold time window.
Dispatcher cannot manually reschedule work orders when:
• The work order is currently within the dispatch threshold time window and the dispatcher wants to reschedule it to a timeslot which is within the dispatch threshold time window.
• If the work order is currently outside the dispatch threshold time window and the dispatcher reschedules it to a timeslot within the dispatch threshold time window, the work order is no longer recognized by RTO. The route continues to be active. If the rescheduling causes overlaps in the route, the route becomes unoptimizable.
