Feature Compatibility by Release Version
For all Service Board implementations, two packages are installed on Salesforce, the ServiceMax package (associated with the SVMXC namespace) and the Service Board Extension package (associated with the SVMXSB namespace). Installed package versions must match. For example, ServiceMax 23.2 requires Service Board Extension 23.2.
After the Salesforce packages are installed and implementation is completed, you have access to the latest Service Board application version. The latest application version is pushed to all customers, regardless of their installed ServiceMax packages.
Certain Service Board features require minimum versions of the ServiceMax and Service Board Extension packages to be installed due to dependencies on the Salesforce data models. Any features not listed in the table are backward-compatible.
