Dictionary Item Status Indicators
Identify the status of each Observation, Root Cause, and Solution on an Investigation at a glance using the icons that appear next to the item, so Remote Service Engineers can interpret diagnostic progress consistently across Cases, Service Requests, and Work Orders.
Dictionary items include Observations, Root Causes, and Solutions that you can add to an Investigation. Each item includes visual indicators that display its status. These indicators help you interpret investigation data quickly and maintain consistency as troubleshooting progresses.
Status Indicators for Dictionary Items
Each section displays a status icon to help RSEs understand the state of the item at a glance.

By default, when you add an item, the system automatically sets its status to Observed for Observations, Confirmed for Root Causes, and Worked for Solutions. These statuses are represented by the Green check icon icon.
