Linked SFM
Android and iOS
Linked SFM processes allow you to invoke another SFM process for a child line, from within an SFM process. It is useful to switch back and forth between two related SFM transactions for efficient business flow. If a child line has Linked SFM processes configured, you can invoke the Linked SFM option for each child line record. For more information about how to configure Linked SFM, see Configure Linked SFM.
*
When you edit a record that has access to a linked SFM, the Save button is always enabled, even when no changes are yet made to the record.
To launch the linked SFM
1. Open a Work Order record in Edit mode.
2. Go to the child line section, such as Parts, Labor, and so on.
3. Right-click or long-press the child line record for the context menu options to be displayed. All the configured Linked SFM processes are displayed under the MORE section.
4. Click the required Linked SFM to launch it and add details and click Save.
*
When you make changes to the Linked SFM process and click Save, the records are saved and the control goes back to the primary SFM transaction in edit mode.
