Custom Actions
Custom Actions are URL-based actions configured as SFM Wizard steps. These actions are launched from the Actions menu for a specific record.. Following are the types of custom actions:
• URL actions allow you to launch Salesforce pages, external websites, or other apps available locally.
• Webservice allows you to execute custom Apex web services. For sample Apex, web service code, see Building Custom Apex Web Service for SFM.
• App-to-App allows mobile users to use an action menu item to launch and pass information to the third-party target app.
