Zinc Hotline
You can configure a custom setting to allow technicians to join a Zinc hotline conversation.
Adding a new Zinc submodule to the ServiceMax Go Module
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > App Administration > Submodules.
2. Select Module: ServiceMax Go.
3. Click the New Submodule in Custom Submodules.
a. Name - Zinc
b. Submodule ID - GO_ZINC_CONFIG
4. Click Save.
Creating custom settings for the Zinc Submodule
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > App Administration > Settings.
2. Select Module: ServiceMax Go; Submodule: Zinc.
3. Create the following two settings in the Custom Settings.

ZINC_HOTLINE_NAME
Zinc Hotline Name
Text
Group
Group, Global
ZINC_HOTLINE_ID
Zinc Hotline ID

Group, Global
4. Click Save to save the new custom settings.

For the Zinc Hotline ID and the Zinc Hotline Name, use the Edit action to fill in the values for the Hotline ID and Hotline Name.
Ensure to Save each of the settings, and click Save on the Edit Configuration Profile page.
Adding the relevant information for the Zinc Hotline for the relevant profile(s)
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > App Administration > Configuration Profiles
2. Go to Group-wide Configuration Settings
3. Select the relevant profile
4. Choose Edit.
5. Select Module: ServiceMax Go; Submodule: Zinc
