Output Documents are reports built as SFM transactions of type to generate an Output Document for a header record with or without its child records. Output documents are configured as SFM Wizard steps and are displayed in the Actions menu. An output document is saved as a PDF file. Service reports are generated and saved under Documents.

Output Documents are reports which include ServiceMax and Salesforce data and are designed using the Output Document Designer. The reports are generated using an Output Document process and are called Service reports. Service reports are generated as a PDF file and saved under the Documents tab of a Work Order record.

For example, data included in an output document for Work Order Report can be a company name, company logo, Work Order details such as Work Performed, Billing Type, and Total Billable Amount, Work Detail information like Parts and Labor consumed.
