Sync and Purge the Timesheet
Android and iOS
Timesheet records have to be up-to-date so that you can work with the latest timesheet data. The following are the sync and purge functions applicable for timesheets.
Initial Sync: Initial Sync downloads the timesheets based on the value assigned for SET002. The timesheet header record, daily summary timesheet records, and time entry records for each daily summary are downloaded.
Data Sync: Data Sync synchronizes timesheets and its child records from the server to the ServiceMax Go app and vice versa, based on the value assigned for SET002. Data Sync includes manual, scheduled, and aggressive sync.
Smart Sync: Smart sync synchronizes the current timesheet and its child records to the server. When you add, edit, or delete a non-work order entry and save the record, Smart Sync is triggered immediately.
Data Purge: Data purge deletes the timesheet and its child records based on the value assigned for SET002. For example, previously, the setting SET002 was set to 10. You changed the setting value of SET002 to 3. When you perform the Data Purge, the most recent 3 timesheets are retained, and the remaining 7 timesheets are deleted from the app
