Sorting SFM Search Results
Administrators can configure the fields that are displayed for SFM search results that enable technicians to sort the search results by fields.
To configure Sort by Fields:
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > Service Flow Manager > Search Designer.
2. Select the Search Title under Custom Searches.
3. Click Edit.
4. Navigate to Search Configuration.
5. Select the Search Object.
6. Click Edit.
You can configure the fields for the following sections.
Choose one or more fields to be displayed in the search result - All the fields configured in this section appear in the list as sorting fields in the app when the filter option is used. The Ascending and Descending order to sort is available for all the configured fields.
Choose fields on which sorting should be applied - The first field configured in this section is the default sort field on the app for the configured SFM search results list. This field appears in the list of sorting options when the filter option is used. Additional fields configured in this section are not be considered in the sorting and do not appear as sorting options in the app.
