Event Criteria
You can create Event Criteria to determine which events are downloaded to Go during sync. Event Criteria is configured using setting SET012, under Module: ServiceMax iPad Client, and Submodule: Synchronization. For more information, see Soft Scheduling - Create Tentative Schedule In DC.
The criteria in SET012 apply to events that are downloaded during synchronization but do not apply to related event records which are downloaded as part of any Download on Demand operation.
Download on Demand is initiated when records are directly downloaded from the server such as:
The Explore screen
When a user interacts with a notification that prompts a record to download.
You can create a custom setting to apply SET012 Event Criteria to related event records that are downloaded during a Download on Demand operation.
To create a custom setting:
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > App Administration > Settings.
2. Select Module: ServiceMax iPad Client, and Submodule: Synchronization.
3. Click New Setting
4. Provide the following details in Custom Settings.
Setting Id: ENABLE_SET012_DOD
Setting Name: Enable SET012 for Download on Demand
Data Type: Boolean
Setting Type: Group
Search Order: Group, Global
Click Save.
The value can be set to True at a Group or Org-wide level when the custom setting is created.
