Signature Capture in Smart Docs
If the report is configured to obtain one or more signatures, you can capture the signatures using the track-pad or mouse on Windows laptops and using the touchscreen on mobile devices (iPad, Android). If any of the signatures are defined as mandatory, you will not be able to click the Done button to generate the report in PDF format.
Signature capture puts a watermark behind the signature. The watermark comprises the work order number and date-timestamp from the device when the signature was captured. The following image illustrates the signature capture functionality.
In the Customer Signature pop-up, click Cancel to cancel the signature captured. Click the refresh icon to clear the signature captured. Click Done to save the signature captured.
