Output Document is also known as Smart Doc or Output Docs or Smart Documents. They are reports built as SFM transactions of type to generate an Output Document for a header record with/without its child records*. An output document is delivered as an HTML page and it can be converted and saved as a PDF file. It includes ServiceMax and Salesforce data and is designed using the Template Designer in SFM Designer.

SFM Wizard steps for Output Document transactions that are configured with Select Template at Runtime option are not supported and are not displayed under the Actions menu. Output Document reports are configured as SFM Wizard steps and are displayed under the Actions menu.
