Upgrading Engage Extension Package
An updated extension package is available with each release. You have to upgrade the Engage Extension Package to access the latest version.
To upgrade the package:
• Contact the ServiceMax technical support team to request the upgrade package link.
• Refer to the steps in Installing Engage Extension Package.

The new package updates the Standard Engage Permission Set. You can perform one of the following:
• Clone the updated Standard Permission Set, apply the naming convention to match the release number, and add the users to the permission set.
• Create your own Permission Set with the correct Experience License for your org. The set contains only your changes. Add your users to both the Standard Permission Set and your own set. The future upgrades always upgrade the Standard Permission Set. Depending on your migration approach, select a Permission Set management that fits your best practices.
• Compare the Standard Engage Permission Set with the existing Engage Permission Set and merge the new permission set.
