Notifications Setup
Push Notifications are messages that are sent to the mobile app when a record is created or updated on Salesforce. You can configure the push notification.
To configure the notification setup:
1. Navigate to Engage Setup Home Global Settings Navigation Setup.
2. Enter the following.
◦ Push Notification Connected App Consumer Key - The consumer key from the connected app.
◦ Self-Signed Certificate Name - Name of the self-signed certificate.
| • You can create a Connected App and Self-Signed Certificate or use the existing Connected App and Self-Signed Certificate. |
3. Click Save to apply the changes.
• The ServiceMax Event objects and Salesforce Event objects define the push notifications flow when created or updated.
• Remember to assign the Profiles to the Connected App that receives and initiates the push notifications.
• For Example, you must add the cloned Engage Profile and any user profile such as Dispatcher, that works with Scheduling Events in DC or ServiceBoard.
