Notifications Setup
Push Notifications are messages that are sent to the mobile app when a record is created or updated on Salesforce. You can configure the push notification.
To configure the notification setup:
1. Navigate to Engage Setup Home Global Settings Navigation Setup.
2. Enter the following.
Push Notification Connected App Consumer Key - The consumer key from the connected app.
Self-Signed Certificate Name - Name of the self-signed certificate.
*
You can create a Connected App and Self-Signed Certificate or use the existing Connected App and Self-Signed Certificate.
To create a Connected App and Self-Signed Certificate, see Prerequisites for Push and SMS Notification.
3. Click Save to apply the changes.
The ServiceMax Event objects and Salesforce Event objects define the push notifications flow when created or updated.
Remember to assign the Profiles to the Connected App that receives and initiates the push notifications.
For Example, you must add the cloned Engage Profile and any user profile such as Dispatcher, that works with Scheduling Events in DC or ServiceBoard.
