Using Custom Fonts
The Document Template supports the use of custom fonts. When a full font family such as Regular, Bold, Italic, and BoldItalic is uploaded, the toolbar displays only the font name, and the corresponding styling options such as Bold and Italic remain available for use. However, if only the Regular style of a custom font is uploaded, the toolbar still displays the font name, but the Bold and Italic styling options are disabled because those styles are not part of the uploaded font set.
You can set a custom font as the default font for the entire template. For more information, see Configuring Layout Information.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the required fonts are uploaded to the folder named DataGuide Custom Fonts in Files > Libraries.
The following illustrations highlight how uploaded fonts are reflected in the library and how they function within the Document Template designer.
