As scheduled in the SPM setup, SCON Scheduler SPM Engine creates/updates the related SPM object records, and creates log records (ServiceMax Job records). The SPM Engine also automatically purges log records older than a month.

As illustrated below, the SPM Engine uses the configuration defined in the SPM Setup screen to identify the business data sets for the different metrics based on the qualifying criteria (rules) and applies the field mappings from source to target SPM object records to generate the required metrics.

If SPM records are created successfully, an email is sent to the email id configured for Send success notifications to this email address option, providing the summary of records created.

If any error is encountered when creating the SPM records, a failure notification is also sent to the above email id.
